I was contacted by the Women's League in Huntington Woods to create a birdhouse for their new birdhouse garden. I wanted this piece to highlight community buildings on the front and the city's symbol on the back.

The Women's League started the garden in 2001, and decided to add one birdhouse every year. The first birdhouse was purchased at an art fair. As the first anniversary approached, one of the women saw my HGTV show and approached me to create the second birdhouse.
